Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Boat Launch
Summer 2022 Update: Due to continued low water levels, the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area (TVRA) boat ramp will remain closed to motorized boats for the 2022 boating season. Non-motorized crafts will have access to the launch following a self-assessment for aquatic invasive species using the Clean, Drain, and Dry method.
Tahoe Vista Recreation Area and Boat Launch underwent a total reconstruction. Come enjoy the beach and picnic area on the 2.7 acre lakeshore property, with approximately 800 feet of lakeshore frontage. The Recreation Area includes lake access, a sheltered boat launching facility, picnic area, restrooms, sidewalks, and a large plaza area with interpretive signage. The plaza is available for rental for weddings, parties, and other events. This is a Tahoe Vista local’s favorite so come get out on Lake Tahoe or catch some rays on the beach. One of North Lake Tahoe’s more quaint beaches to discover and the boat launch is easy to navigate. The beach is open dawn to dusk.
On the beach at Tahoe Vista Recreation Area pets are not permitted. The Tahoe Unleashed Dog Park is located just up National Avenue at the North Tahoe Regional Park.
