Talk about a kick off to July 4th weekend, the community of Incline Village is pulling out all the stops with the 10th annual Red, White and Tahoe Blue celebration! Presenting more than 20 events including the annual Veterans’ recognition, Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Rubber Duck Races, Ice Cream Eating Contest, and of course, the amazing fireworks display. Back by popular demand the Community Fair will once again fill the Village Green with local merchants and organizations, along with a wide variety of food and drink, kids’ activities, and free music for the whole family to come and enjoy. The famous MarchFourth Marching Band, the Air National Guard Band of the West, and our own local TOCCATA-Tahoe Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will play live music. The grand finale fireworks display is crafted especially for Incline Village and will feature an amazing soundtrack performed live by the Air National Guard Band of the West! Attend a FREE Beach Party, a fundraiser for the Kings Beach fireworks featuring food vendors, no-host bar, free watermelon eating and sand castle building contests, periodic live music performances by the San Diego Marine Double Time Brass Band, glow and patriotic souvenirs, face painting, and a raffle where you can win a BOGA paddleboard. The fireworks and beach party to celebrate our country’s birthday has been a family tradition in Tahoe City for 72 years! The festivities will begin as a fun family beach day in Tahoe City leading up to the biggest, brightest and most dazzling firework show to date! Enjoy the lake all day long with food & activities taking place on Commons Beach and throughout town. Then all eyes point up to the sky for the spectacular fireworks that are fired off right off shore in front of you. It’s breathtaking. Celebrate summer skiing and the 4th of July with a music and ski festival at Squaw Valley! There will be 3 days of live music mid-mountain, paying tribute to the 1991 concert by the Jerry Garcia Band that took place near this location.
