The South Tahoe Ice Arena is a full service ice skating facility. This facility consists of a regulation NHL size sheet of ice, locker rooms, snack bar, retail store, arcade and party rooms. This public facility offers ice skating and hockey lessons as well as public skate sessions.

Located at the Kirkwood Ski Resort Village, just off Hwy. 88 about 35 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. The rink is open daily throughout the winter, weather permitting, from Noon - 6 pm on Saturdays and Holidays, and midweek from 2pm - 5pm.

This 100' x 200' Olympic Ice Pavilion overlooks Lake Tahoe and is located at the top of the Cable Car at High Camp Bath and Tennis Club. This outdoor ice skating rink is fun for the entire family. Open during the winter season. Can be reserved for large groups. Come experience great outdoor adventure on Lake Tahoe's North Shore.

Snow Park Description
Echo Summit Sno-Park

This snow park location is a former ski area and is a popular hill for tuging. The parking lot holds about 100 cars and can fill up quickly on weekends. There are three hills with varying degrees of slope. Perfect for the beginner to advanced tubers! There is no lift to take you to the top so it can be a bit of a climb.

Gondola
Take the 2.4 scenic gondola ride up to the top of Heavenly. There you will find the Adventure Peak play are, complete with snow tubing, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. A great way for the family to spend the day. Those skiers and boarders can spend the day at Heavenly while other family and friends can use the snow park.

This short little hill is mostly for small children and timid new beginners. The crowds are light and lots of beginner fun.

Highway 50
East of Echo Summit
Located at on Highway 50 east of Echo Summit. One of Lake Tahoe's most enjoyed tubing hills with lift system. It's great for those who don't ski, but want the "snow" experience. Mom and Dad can enjoy the view from tables on the deck complete with drinks and food.

This state of the art 37,000 square feet indoor official NHL ice surface has just opened in South Lake Tahoe! Skating at this beautiful ice arena will add to your winter mountain recreational experience. The ice rink offers stating lessons, full service pro shop/rentals and daily public skating sessions. A wonderful sledding area for children of all ages. Saucers provided. Located off Hwy. 80 about a 35 minute drive from North Lake Tahoe. One of the oldest family winter traditions has become a little easier. Boreal's equipped with groomed sledding lanes, portable bathrooms and quality sleds. The Playland is a place where the whole family can enjoy the snow. Playland Park is open from 10am to 4pm during the regular winter season when conditions permit.

Located in Tahoe City Granlibakken offers an area for saucers only. Rentals available, fee charged for day use.
Mt. Rose
Hwy. 431
This hill is closest to Incline Village. Located at the top of Mt. Rose highway (Hwy. 431) Must have your own equipment for this large open tubing area. Lots of space and fun to be had. Drop off your skiers/boarders at Mt. Rose Ski Resort and bring the small kids to the park.

Tahoe Vista
Located in Tahoe Vista, this hill offers fun for sleds, saucers, tubes, etc. Located at the end of National Ave. $3 parking fee at the North Tahoe Regional Park which applies to
sledding. Sled rentals available on site. Cross Country Skiing approx.. 11km of cross country trails that are groomed as snow permits. $3 parking fee and a donation is requested for us of the trails. Facility has year round restrooms and dogs are welcome on leash.
