South Tahoe Ice Arena is a full service ice skating facility near the shores of Lake Tahoe.
This facility consists of a regulation NHL size sheet of ice,
locker rooms, snack bar, retail store, arcade and party rooms.
This public facility offers ice skating and hockey lessons as
well as public skate sessions. There are many structured ice skating and hockey lessons for kids. The year-round activities make this one of South Lake Tahoe's family hot spots. |

minute from South Lake Tahoe. During the winter season the rink is open daily, weather permitting, from noon to 6 pm on Saturdays
and holidays, and midweek from 2pm to 5pm. |

The Northstar Ice Rink is located in the heart of the Village at Northstarâ„¢. This 9,000 square foot ice skating rink adds to that perfect winter vacation at Northstar™. After a day on the mountian come enjoy watching the kids on the ice rink while you enjoy a hot toddy or a hot mulled cider by the outdoor fire pits. Maybe you prefer to sharpen your old ice skating skills or feel brave enough to learn a new one - ice skating for the first time. The Northstar Ice Rink hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday through Saturday: 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - weather permitting. |

The Olympic Ice Pavilion is

Hansen's snow tube run is approximately 400 ft long and is fun for all ages. You will find a convenient walkway up the side of the run and makes for an easier way back to the top. Tubing runs are groomed daily, with high "walls" and a well planned small hill below to stop you. There is parking and toilets for your convenience.

the 2.4 scenic gondola ride up to the top of Heavenly. There
you will find the Adventure Peak play are, complete with snow
tubing, sledding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. A great
way for the family to spend the day. Those skiers and boarders
can spend the day at Heavenly while other family and friends
can use the snow park. Kids under the age of four ride free when accompanied by a paying adult. The Heavenly Mountain tubing hill currently has two tubing lanes with a 65-foot vertical drop and over 500 feet long. Heavenly Mountain tubing hill is sure to create laughs and excitment for everyone. Riders must be more than 42 inches tall in order to ride. Call for hours of operation and pricing. |

your own equipment" hill that is not maintained. Many people come to enjoy this downhill excitement this hill provides. You will find some limited parking when snow plows have come through. Get there early to find a spot to park. |

hill is located at the top of Mt.
Rose highway (Hwy. 431). Located about 8 miles north of Incline Village. Look for a few clearings on the west side of the road. Hills vary in steepness. You must have your own equipment for this
large open tubing area. Lots of space and fun to be had. Drop
off your skiers and snow boarders at Mt. Rose Ski Resort and bring the
small kids to the snow play area for hours of free fun. |
