Established in 1976, Granite Chief is considered one of the premiere ski and mountain shops at Lake Tahoe and Truckee. You will find their local knowledge of the area ski resorts and backcountry make Granite Chief a valuable resource for locals and visitors alike. The last thirty years Granite Chief has evolved from a one man tuning shop to a full service core ski shop. They now offer full rentals of top of the line skis, demo skis, boots, gear and offer top of the line tuning center. They also sell skis, fit boots, and they have a full lineup of great ski wear for the serious skier.
