Winter Wrap Rail Fest at the Beach Hut Cafe
Rail jam competition for kids and adults, local bands, local booths and local fun at the Winter Wrap Rail Fest from noon to 6pm. Winter Wrap Rail Fest, presented by On Course Events, Sierra-at-Tahoe and the Beach Hut Deli, is an afternoon of snowboarding and skiing competitions and a big community gathering to say “Hasta la vista” to winter. The rail jam event will take place in the parking lot at the Beach Hut Deli located at 1072 Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe. Local park pioneer Rob Giustina of On Course Events, will transform the parking area into a snow rail jam for competitors in 4 classes: Kids 8 and under, Kids 9 to 12 years old, 13 years to 17 years old, 18 years and older, Registration takes place on the spot and is only $15 per entry. Local music, prizes from Sierra-at-Tahoe. |

Annual Booster Golf Tournament at Edgewood
On Wednesday, May 2, you can help South Lake Tahoe and Whittell High School students by playing golf at Edgewood Golf Course. It’s all part of the annual Booster Golf Tournament. For $100, with all proceeds going to local students, participants play a round of scramble-format golf, receive lunch and have a chance at trophies and prizes. The fun starts at 11am sharp.
