8th Annual Corvettes at the Lake Car Show. Montbleu Casino Resort. There will be over 100 Corvettes on display in the Montblue parking lot. Admission is free. 19-21 Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance and Wooden Boat Week 2009
For centuries, graceful and stylish wooden boats have elegantly cruised the waters of Lake Tahoe. For 37 years, this tradition has been celebrated by Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation at the Lake Tahoe Concours d'Elegance, a gathering of the finest antique wooden boats in North America - and some say - in the world. 20 Day of the Young Child
10am-2pm. Day of the Young Child celebrates children in our community. It is an assembly of many agencies in town. There are educational activities, games, crafts, healthy meal choices and parent information booths with topics from health care to childcare and suitable activities for children. 20 2009 Legendary Tahoe Run - T. R. 4. C. K
2009 Legendary Tahoe Run - Track Restoration for Community and Kids (T.R.4.C.K.). 8:00 AM, Start: Lake Tahoe Community College, Finish: South Tahoe Middle School 1 College Drive. Registration Closing Date Thursday, June 18, 2009 @ 11:59 PM. 5K/10K A mix of flat and gentle hill road and single track trail running along Al Tahoe Blvd and through forest and meadow starting at the LTCC parking area and finishing near the re-building of the historic track was that used during the 1968 Olympic Track & Field Trials located at South Tahoe Middle School. The track was resufraced 2007. There is a 1 mile (approximately) pavement only wheelchair or stroller fun race and a on the track kids only race. Race Day Registration: 7:00 am to 7:45 am at the parking area of Lake Tahoe Community College. Shirts guaranteed for pre-registered. Awards for the finishers.
21 Tempest (Celtic Rock band) - Valhalla Arts, Theatre & Music Festival
2pm at the Boathouse. A special Father's Day event. Tempest combines the best of Celtic tradition with an infusion of rock energy. How about treating dear old dad to this concert. It's way better than another tie!

21 Father's Day at Sorenson's Resort
Celebrate Dad in the clear, high-mountain air of Sorensen's Resort - with a classically delicious Chicken and Ribs BBQ and the lyrical sounds of "10 Dollar Pony". BBQ will be served from Noon - 4:00 p.m. on Father's Day, Sunday, June 21. The menu consists of perfectly grilled chicken and ribs, corn-on-the-cob, and choice of green salad or Sorensen's popular red potato and dill salad. 23 Rock Concert by LTCC Music Students at the Lake Tahoe Community College
7:00 PM. Lake Tahoe Community College students are offering a free rock concert at 7 p.m. in the Duke Theatre. The music ensemble workshop and rock music ensemble classes taught by professional musician Eric Hellberg will be performing as part of their class final. Hellberg is a drummer for the Steve Walker Band.
