10-Aug 23 Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival 2010
Lake Tahoe's Premier Summer Event. In our 38th season of The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, we're pleased to offer you an easy summer escape full of laughter, love, scheming, scandal, and dancing in the aisles. Tickets are now available for the 2010 season. For its 38th season the festival will feature "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" under the direction of Charles Fee, artistic producer. This will be performed July 9 to Aug. 22. 10 Tour of the California Alps - Death Ride 2010
Markleeville, CA Phone: (530) 694-2475 - Recognized as one of the premier cycling events in the West, the Alpine County Chamber of Commerce and the Alta Alpina Cycle Club invite you to participate in the 29th Anniversary of the "Death Ride", while enjoying the magnificent scenery and warm hospitality of Alpine County! Beginning and ending at Turtle Rock Park north of Markleeville, California, the five pass ride includes 129 miles and 15,000+ feet of lung busting climbing. You also have the option of riding one, two, three or four passes. For your safety, the first four passes will be closed to vehicular traffic for the ride.
