Festival of Trees & Lights
Santa, surrounded by his helpers, will be waiting to visit with children at the Festival of Trees & Lights Dec. 3 through 6. Sponsored by the Barton Foundation, proceeds from the festival benefit the Community Clinic. Barton Foundation’s first annual event at MontBleu Resort & Spa. Live entertainment stage. The Polar Express is Dec. 3 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 is the Senior Stroll, public viewing (everything is on silent auction,) Cheeseballs concert and Dessert Buffet. South Shore's Sixth Annual Tahoe Adventure Film Festival, with never been seen before action and adventure film clips from around the world -everything from BASE jumping, skiing, tow in big wave surfing, and deep water soloing - no gear, no ropes, climbing rocks over water. New Year's Eve, Fireworks and Torchlight Parade at Kirkwood Mountain Resort
On New Year's Eve Kirkwood Mountain Resort holds a Fireworks and Torchlight parade for guests to watch and participate if they choose too. Guests go up Chair 6 and down Zack's with road flares thus the parade portion of the event. Immediately following we set off fireworks, about a 15 minute show.
