Relay For Life of South Lake Tahoe
5 p.m. – 9 a.m. Kahle Park. Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event. There are currently more than 4000 locations around the U.S. doing “Relay.” It’s not athletic! It’s more like a giant slumber party for the entire community! It goes all night, symbolic of the fact that cancer never sleeps…and neither does the American Cancer Society. Cancer survivors are honored by leading the first lap of victory and also at a reception following the start. Relay begins in the evening. After that, members of each team take turns walking around the track until the morning. |

Sand Harbor Music Series- Sugaray
This magnetic performer is the consummate blues soul singer. He’s as diesel as John Lee Hooker and unapologetically will have you panting over his painfully sweet, soulful melodies. Sideman, Chuck Kavooras, is a beast on guitar; chomping his way through some of the most complex blues riffs you’ll ever hear. Chuck is also a well-known music producer who recently produced the Plain White T’s – a platinum selling group that’s quickly moving up the charts in the United States. Sand Harbor State Park
