Margaret Cho – the woman, the comic, the legend – is taking her irreverent brand of stand-up to MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa in Lake Tahoe. Fans can laugh along with the five-time Grammy and Emmy nominee on Saturday, June 30, 2018. Show time is 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m.

Cho began her career as a stand-up comedian before transitioning to television. In 1994, she starred in a controversial ABC sitcom based on her stand-up routine, All-American Girl. Since then, Cho has been nominated for an Emmy for her guest stint on 30 Rock as Kim Jong-Il, played the sarcastic assistant Teri on Drop Dead Diva, competed on the eleventh season of Dancing with the Stars, served as a co-host of Fashion Police on E! and released the acclaimed studio album American Myth. Her comedy tours continue to sell out both here and abroad.

Across her work in film, television, books, music and theatre, Cho never been one to shy away from a taboo topic. There are literally no subjects off limits. Her socially aware, no-holds-barred comedy style has made her both a thought leader and a tolerant teacher to an ever-growing community of open hearts and minds.

“It’s a wonderful thing to be known as a ‘safe haven’ for people,” says Cho. “People come to see me, or buy my records and/or DVDs, because my point of view satisfies a lot of what needs to be said out there. More than anything, that makes me really proud.”
