4th of July Lake Tahoe Fireworks

This July, 2015 come celebrate the 240th birthday of the United States with an awe inspiring display of fireworks at Lake Tahoe. The crystal clear waters of the Lake Tahoe reflect the mesmerizing colors and lights, making it a fireworks display unlike any other. In fact, there are many places to enjoy 4th of July Lake Tahoe fireworks so we have compiled some of the best locations to celebrate and take in the light shows.

South Lake Tahoe, CA — “Lights on the Lake” Firework Show
If you are looking for what just might be the greatest 23-minute fireworks show on earth, South Lake Tahoe has made national headlines as one of the Top Ten Cities to For Fireworks by NBC’s Today show. South Lake Tahoe’s Lights on Lake Fireworks display is nothing short of spectacular. The American Pyrotechnics Association even rates South Lake Tahoe’s celebration among the top five in the nation!

True to form, South Lake Tahoe has planned another fantastic display for 2015, which is expected to draw in a crowd of up to 100,000 people. The show starts at 9:45 PM and can be seen from just about anywhere along the shoreline, but some of best locations include Nevada Beach, Edgewood-Tahoe, The Tahoe Queen and M.S. Dixie II, Timber Cove Marina, The Tallac Historic Site, Bijou Community Park, Reagan Beach and El Dorado Beach. View our list of all Lake Tahoe beaches to get a quick overview. Be sure to tune your radio to KRLT-FM 93.9 or KOWL-AM 1490 to listen to a synchronized music broadcast that will get your patriotic emotions flowing. We recommend that you arrive by late afternoon to claim your spot and have a picnic dinner with family and friends.

Incline Village, Nevada – “Red, White & Tahoe Blue” Fireworks and Events
The Red, White and Tahoe Blue has great fundraising events going on in Incline Village, Nevada. The fireworks shoot off from a barge, so if you just want to see the show you can pick almost any site along the shoreline in Incline Village and still get an excellent view. More than 20 events in Incline Village & Crystal Bay, including the annual Parade, Concerts, Veterans Tribute, Rubber Duck Races, Wine & Cheese, Ice Cream Contest & Chalk Drawing for Kids and so much more.

Tahoe City, California – Tahoe City Fireworks July 4th
Celebrate Tahoe City’s 70th annual fireworks show in downtown Tahoe City at Commons Beach. The fireworks display takes place over the lake at DUSK. The views from the beach are fantastic, but you could even take your boat out on the water, or watch it from the Tahoe Gal. Truckee, California – Truckee-Donner Lake Fireworks
West End Beach offers more than just a great fireworks display. Enjoy live music, games, and delicious (and affordable!) food offerings all day. The spectacular fireworks show starts at 9:30 PM. Tickets cost $6.00 for ages one to adult and are reserved for residents and homeowners. Visitors can still enjoy the fireworks from many locations around Donner Lake.

Truckee Fourth of July Parade
Enjoy an All-American parade from 10am to 11am July 4th. The parade route travels down Donner Pass Raod from Tahoe/Truckee High School through Historic Downtown Truckee.
