South Lake Tahoe’s Lights on Lake Fireworks display is nothing short of spectacular. The American Pyrotechnics Association even rates South Lake Tahoe’s celebration among the top five in the nation!

True to form, South Lake Tahoe has planned another fantastic display for 2023, which is expected to draw in a crowd of up to 100,000 people. The show starts at 9:45 PM and can be seen from just about anywhere along the shoreline. Some of best locations include Nevada Beach, Edgewood-Tahoe, Timber Cove Marina, The Tallac Historic Site, Bijou Community Park, Reagan Beach and El Dorado Beach. South Lake Tahoe’s “Lights on Lake” fireworks is shot from three barges anchored near the Stateline area of Lake Tahoe. Many hours were spent planning this great annual event. Be sure to tune your radio to KRLT radio ready by 9:45 pm. to listen to a synchronized music broadcast that will get your patriotic emotions flowing. We recommend that you arrive by late afternoon to claim your spot and have a picnic dinner with family and friends.
